Prerequisites

1. Install

bash

2. Run

bash
The setup wizard asks for your API key and bootstrap mode. After that, the daemon starts syncing agent sessions in the background and opens the terminal dashboard. See Configuration for all options.
The CLI watches session files from Claude Code, Codex, and OpenClaw automatically. No extra configuration needed.

3. Add MCP Server

Give your agents access to context from other agents.

Claude Code

bash

Codex

Add to ~/.codex/config.toml:
TOML
The MCP server reads your API key from ~/.ultracontext/config.json automatically — the same config file used by the CLI.

4. Try it

Ask your agent:
  • “What did Codex do last?”
  • “Show me Claude Code sessions in /Users/alice/Code/myapp”
  • “What happened on my Mac mini today?”
  • “List all sessions from the last 24 hours”
